Our Mission

We at the Barbour County Senior Center are committed to enriching the quality of life for Seniors, persons with disabilities, and the general public by helping them live an independent, happy and healthy
lifestyle. This mission will be achieved through the establishment and operation of social services and general public transportation through public and private funding sources.

Who Can Join?

Anyone Age 60 and over and spouses - regardless of age.

Any person sixty years of age or older is welcome to participate in programs and services sponsored by the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services, regardless of race, creed, sex, handicap, national origin or geographic residence.

The Barbour County Senior Center is funded through the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services, Upper Potomac Area Agency on Aging, City of Philippi, the Joseph N. and Viola C. Forman Memorial Trust, and private donations from local businesses and friends.

No fee is charged for Membership, but your donation is greatly appreciated.
